Why snapshot? Because over the fifty plus years that I have been taking pictures the ones I have enjoyed the most are those that I have taken with minimal consideration, generally whist on the move and with minimal equipment. Hence - snapshot.

I have taken thousands of pictures over the years, mainly without any artistic pretence and were only ever intended as a ‘memory jogger’. The pictures on this site are only a small selection of personal favourites and like most ‘favourite’ pictures, they are selected for the memories they conjure; the sights, the sounds and the smells.
